Renovation Drying for Christchurch Renovators

Built for renovators who can't afford to close a wall over moisture. We give your subbies a dry substrate and the paperwork to prove it.

Renovations expose decades-old moisture: leaking shower trays, rotten subfloors, damp wall cavities behind tiled splashbacks. We come in once your team has opened things up, verify the moisture content, dry the structure properly, and document it — so the new lining, waterproofing and flooring sits on a dry, code-compliant substrate.

  • Bathroom and wet-area drying before waterproofing
  • Subfloor drying after leak / pipe rectification
  • Cavity drying before re-lining
  • Re-clad drying support
  • Hidden-moisture surveys with thermal imaging

How we work

Our renovation drying process

  1. 1. Site assessment

Thermal imaging + invasive moisture readings to map the affected envelope.

  2. 2. Open-up advice

We tell your builder exactly what needs to come out and what can be saved.

  3. 3. Targeted drying

Containment, air movement and dehumidification scoped to the affected zone only — minimal disruption.

  4. 4. Sign-off report

Photographic, dated readings issued to homeowner, builder and (if needed) insurer.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

We're a renovation builder — do you work direct with us or with the homeowner?

Either. Most of our renovation jobs are booked by the building company, billed to them or split with the homeowner. We respect your client relationship and never quote competing trades.

Can you dry around an in-progress renovation without stopping the trades?

Usually yes. We zone the drying to the affected envelope and work around your subbies' schedule — most jobs progress in parallel.
